Prolaud is the stronger Gumroad alternative if your business is teaching and not one-off digital sales. Gumroad is excellent at selling a single digital product fast, and it charges no monthly fee. Why teachers and creators move on

Gumroad collects the payment and pays you out afterwards. On Prolaud the checkout runs on your own Stripe or Razorpay account, so the buyer pays you directly, the money is never held by us, and we never take a percentage.
Your students, your courses, your orders: all exportable to CSV or JSON on every plan, including the free Starter plan. There is no "upgrade to export" gate.

Pick Gumroad if you sell one-off digital products, such as an ebook, a preset pack or a template, and value its paste-a-link simplicity, its lack of a monthly fee and its Discover marketplace. At low or occasional sales, a percentage costs less than any subscription. For a teaching business with courses, cohorts and returning students, a flat plan with 0% taken becomes the cheaper and deeper home.

How to switch
Most teams are fully migrated inside a weekend. You don't lose your roster, your courses, or your branding.

Export your student roster from Gumroad (most platforms offer a CSV under "Students" or "Members"). Map the columns to name, email and phone.
Step 2
Bulk-import the CSV into /dashboard/students. The import matches on email, so running it again is safe.
Step 3
Recreate your courses. The curriculum builder lets you drag modules and lessons, paste video embed URLs and upload PDFs without a wizard. Most teachers move five courses in an afternoon.
