Why teachers and creators move on
The recurring patterns we hear from ClassWalla users.
We've onboarded teachers from every category of platform. These are the same complaints, again and again.
App-first means no web discovery
Your courses live inside a branded app students must install before they can browse or buy. There's no SEO-indexable web storefront, so you lose the organic Google discovery an open web portal gives you. (The native app is a real plus if you specifically want one — see the FAQ.)
₹4,999/month floor, or a revenue-share cut
The fixed plan starts at ₹4,999/month; the alternative is a revenue-share model where ClassWalla takes a percentage of what you earn. Either way the entry cost is high for a teacher just starting out, and there's no free tier to launch on.
Courses + cohorts, not the full product range
Live classes, recorded courses, tests and a parent portal are the core. Memberships, 1:1 coaching sessions, webinars, digital downloads, license keys and bundles — the other ways creators package and sell — aren't the focus.
Student management, not a community
There's attendance, progress tracking and a parent portal — strong for an institute — but not a social cohort feed with posts, reactions, @-mentions and a leaderboard that keeps a cohort engaged between classes.
Revenue routes through the platform's stack
Payments run through ClassWalla's integrated flow. We do the opposite: connect your own Razorpay, money settles straight to your bank, and the platform takes 0% — verifiable on your processor's dashboard.
