Free switching service
Moving your academy? We'll do the moving.
Tell us where you teach today. Our team brings your students across, rebuilds your courses and sets up your site on Prolaud — free. Your old platform keeps running until you decide to switch it off.
- A person replies within one business day, by email.
- We never ask for your password. We work from exports and files you send.
- Nothing goes live until you have checked it. You choose the day students move.
What we move for you
Your students
We import the list your old platform exports and enrol each person in the right course. Nobody is emailed until you say so.
Your courses
Modules, lessons, videos, PDFs and quizzes, rebuilt here from your files and your old course pages.
Your website
Your name, colours, logo and pages, read from the site you have now and set up as your academy's site.
Your community
Members brought into a community, with a welcome post ready for the day you open the doors.
What can't come across
Anything your old platform recorded about each student over time stays there. We would rather you knew before you asked.
- Progress and completionsEvery student starts each course here at zero.
- Payment and order historyIt stays with your old platform and your payment gateway.
- Subscriptions and auto-payA card or UPI mandate belongs to the account that created it, so paying members approve payment again here.
- PasswordsEach student creates a login on your academy with the same email address.
- Certificates issued elsewhereThey stay with the platform that issued them.
Because progress does not move, the smoothest time to switch is between cohorts: let a running course finish where it is, and start the next one here.
How it works
- 1Tell us where you teach todayThe form on this page. It takes about two minutes.
- 2We reply within one business dayWith what we can move, what we need from you — usually your student export and your course files — and when it will be ready.
- 3We build it, you check itEvery course and page is set up in your own Prolaud workspace. Nothing is shown to students until you have been through it.
- 4You invite your studentsWhen you are ready, and not before. Your old platform keeps running until you decide to switch it off.
Questions about switching
- Is it really free?
- Yes. Moving your academy costs nothing, and you do not need a paid plan to ask. To sell on Prolaud you will need a plan; every new academy starts on a free trial with no card. If you don't like what we built, walk away.
- Do you need my password?
- No. We work from the exports and files you send us, or from a team-member invite on your old platform where it has one. Never share a password with us, or with anyone.
- Which platforms can you move me from?
- Any platform that lets you download your student list — TagMango, Graphy, Teachable, Thinkific, Kajabi, Classplus and others — and from a WhatsApp group or a folder of Google Drive and YouTube links too.
- Will my students keep their progress?
- No. Progress and completions stay on the platform that recorded them, and every student starts each course here at zero. That is why the smoothest time to switch is between cohorts: let a running course finish where it is, and start the next one here.
- Can my paying members keep paying the way they do now?
- Not automatically. Subscriptions and auto-pay belong to the payment gateway that created them, so members approve their payment again on Prolaud. Your sales go to your own Stripe or Razorpay account, and Prolaud takes 0% of them.
- How long does it take?
- It depends on how much there is, so we tell you in our first reply. A student list takes minutes; a large video course takes longer.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Not yet — connecting your own domain is coming soon. Today your academy lives at yourname.prolaud.com, and links to it keep working once your own domain can be connected.
