Custom domain
Serving your academy from a web address you own (school.com) instead of the platform's (school.platform.com). The pages are the same; who they appear to belong to is not.
A custom domain is what makes an academy look like a business rather than a page on someone else's service. It also means the SEO value of everything published accrues to an address you keep if you ever move platform.
It is set up by pointing a DNS record at the platform, which then issues an HTTPS certificate for the name. Nothing about the content changes.
For example
The academy points a CNAME record for courses.brightfuture.in at the platform, which issues a TLS certificate for it. The pages, the database and the logins are unchanged; what changes is that links shared on WhatsApp now read as the academy's own, and search engines credit the academy's domain rather than a subdomain of someone else's.
