Zero commission
Also called: 0% commission, no transaction fee
A pricing model where the platform charges a flat subscription and takes no percentage of sales. The payment gateway's own fee still applies, because that is charged by the gateway, not the platform.
Commission and subscription pull in opposite directions as a business grows. A percentage is cheap while sales are small and expensive once they are not; a flat fee is the reverse. The crossover is worth calculating rather than assuming: below roughly ₹15,000 a month in sales, a free plan taking 10% costs less than most paid subscriptions.
Read any "0%" claim carefully. It should mean the platform takes nothing from a sale, with the gateway's fee (roughly 2% in India) going to the gateway at cost — not a lower percentage renamed.
For example
On ₹1,00,000 of sales in a month, a platform taking 10% keeps ₹10,000. A flat ₹1,499 subscription keeps ₹1,499, whatever the month. The gateway's own fee — roughly 2%, so about ₹2,000 — is charged by the gateway either way and is not the platform's to waive. The models cross over at around ₹15,000 of monthly sales.
On Prolaud
Prolaud takes 0% on every plan including the free one, and money settles to the academy's own gateway account rather than passing through Prolaud.
