Attendance
The record of who was present in a class, for how long. Online, it is derived from join and leave times rather than a register being called.
Attendance is the earliest signal that a student is drifting — it drops weeks before results do, which makes it the one worth watching if you intend to intervene while it still helps.
For coaching institutes it is also a parent-facing fact: the question asked at home is whether the child attended, not what they scored.
For example
A student joins at 7:02pm and leaves at 8:28pm on a class scheduled 7:00–8:30: 86 minutes of 90, which counts as present against a 75% threshold. A student who joins at 7:00 and leaves at 7:10 does not. Deriving it from join and leave times rather than a register means it is recorded whether or not anyone remembered to take it.

Joining and leaving a live class writes to the student's attendance record automatically, and the per-class and per-student views are built from it.
