# XP, levels, streaks, quests and rewards

> Students earn XP for learning and for helping each other. XP sets their level and their place on the academy's one leaderboard; the same XP fills their coins, which they spend in your reward shop without losing rank. You choose every number.

## What a student sees

![A student's Leaderboard page: level and streak, weekly quests, How to earn XP](https://prolaud.com/help/xp-levels-rewards/02-student-leaderboard.png)

*A student's Leaderboard page.*

- Their level, with a bar to the next one, and their streak — days in a row with a lesson, a class, a quiz or a challenge check-in. Talk alone does not keep a streak.
- Weekly quests: three small goals each Monday; doing all three earns bonus XP.
- How to earn XP, with your academy's own numbers.
- Their badges, and how many members have each one.
- The reward shop: coins to spend.

## How XP is earned (the starting numbers)

## Levels

- 🌱 Newcomer — from 0 XP
- 📘 Learner — from 100 XP
- 🎓 Scholar — from 250 XP
- 🏅 Achiever — from 500 XP
- ⚡ Expert — from 1000 XP
- 🌟 Master — from 2000 XP
- 👑 Legend — from 5000 XP

Rename them for your subject in Settings → Levels (art: Doodler → Legend; music, languages, fitness, coding and children's sets are ready to pick). A space, a lesson, a download or a coupon can open at a level — Level unlocks.

## Your settings

*Leaderboard → Settings.*

- What is switched on: the board, streaks, quests, rewards — each can be off.
- Kids mode: no other child's name on any board; children see their own progress and their house's total.
- Your own badges, given by hand or by a rule.
- Houses: teams with a shared total.
- Reward shop: what you offer and its price in coins. A claim waits for you under Rewards; a coupon reward makes its own coupon.
