# Two-field bio model + AI help

> Instructor profiles have a short bio (≤55 chars for cards) and a long About (rich text). Both auto-sync between the instructor form and the workspace profile page. AI 'Help me write' drafts three opinionated variants.

## The two fields

Short bio — capped at ~55 characters, used on instructor cards and the storefront teacher rail. Treat it as a tagline, not a summary. About — long-form Tiptap editor for the workspace profile page (bold, italic, lists, links). Treat it as the 'tell me more' surface.

## Two-way sync

Edit either field on the instructor edit form (/dashboard/faculty/<id>) and the change pushes to the public profile page within the same render. Edit on the public profile page and the instructor form picks it up on next load. There's a manual 'Sync from public profile' button if you've edited in another tab and want to pull the latest now.

## AI 'Help me write'

- Click the Sparkles button on either field.
- We generate three drafts in three voices: Warm, Authoritative, Outcome-led.
- Each draft is editable inline before you accept.
- Seed inputs: your name, role, workspace name, and any existing bio text — we never invent credentials.

> **Note:** Generated drafts are suggestions, not auto-applied. Nothing changes on your profile until you click Use this one.
