# Discuss this lesson: questions under every lesson, and where students are stuck

> Under every lesson, students see what classmates asked and answered about that lesson, and can ask their own. The question goes to the course's community, tagged with the lesson, so you answer once and every later student sees the answer where they need it.

*Discuss this lesson, under the lesson.*

- Shown when the course has a community the student can read.
- Ask in (the community) posts the question there, tagged with the lesson. The answer you mark shows under the lesson too.
- Beside it, the student sees where they are next to their cohort: “You're on Module 3 · most of your cohort is on Modules 3–4”. Never “behind”.

## When students are stuck

When 30% or more of a course's active students (and at least two) have not moved on from the same lesson for five days, a tip is drafted for you in Needs you: “9 students stuck on Lesson 7”. Write the tip and post it; it is pinned, and those students are told.
