# Bulk-issue certificates from CSV

> Upload a CSV with the names + emails of recipients. We render a personalized certificate for each, email them with a verify URL, and log the batch for audit.

Open /dashboard/new-batch, pick a template, upload the CSV, map columns to template fields, preview the first row, and hit Issue. The whole batch renders personalized certificates in one pass — no issuing them one by one.

## Prepare your CSV

- One row per recipient, with at least a name and email column.
- Add any extra columns you want on the certificate (e.g. score, cohort, date) and map them to your template's dynamic fields.
- Save as UTF-8 so names with accents or non-Latin scripts render correctly.
- Spot-check the live preview of the first row before issuing — it's the fastest way to catch a wrong column mapping.

## What the recipient gets

- An email with the certificate PDF attached.
- A unique verify URL that anyone can hit to confirm the certificate is real.
- A LinkedIn-shareable preview image, so graduates can post their credential in one tap.

## After you issue

Every batch is logged for audit so you have a record of who got what and when. You can review past batches under Certificate History (/dashboard/history), re-download a certificate, or resend the email if a recipient lost it.

## Common questions

- How many can I issue at once? A whole CSV in one batch — there's no per-certificate manual step.
- Can I re-issue to one person later? Yes — issue a single-row batch, or resend from the history.
- What if a name is wrong? Fix the CSV row and re-issue that recipient; the original verify ID stays unique to each issued certificate.
