# Student record

The record is what turns activity into answers. "Did she pay?", "has she been attending?", "is she going to pass?" are one question about one person, and a business that keeps payments in one tool and attendance in another cannot answer it without joining two exports by hand.

It is also what a student asks for later: proof of attendance, a transcript, a certificate they can show an employer.
