# Prolaud — full reference for language models

> Prolaud (prolaud.com) helps teachers become founders — it turns teaching into an independent business the creator fully owns. It is an all-in-one, India-first, world-ready platform to build, sell, and run an online teaching business under your own brand and domain — courses, live cohorts, communities, a storefront, memberships, certificates, multiplayer docs, a whiteboard, marketing, and analytics — with 0% platform commission. This file is a complete, self-contained description; everything below is also published on the public site.

## What it is, who it's for

Prolaud helps teachers become founders: it's a "creator-business OS" that turns a teaching practice into a real, independent business you own. Instead of stitching together a course host + a community tool + a video tool + a payments tool + an email tool + a website builder, a creator runs everything in one workspace with one member record and one bill. It is built India-first (UPI, GST, INR, WhatsApp, 10-language portals) but is world-ready (sell internationally in USD).

Audiences: independent teachers and tutors, course creators, coaches, coaching institutes and schools, YouTubers and Instagram creators, personal brands, and anyone selling knowledge — in India and worldwide.

## The three reasons creators switch (USPs)

1. Keep 100% of your revenue — zero platform commission, forever. Every rupee and dollar students pay settles directly to the creator's own payment-gateway account. Prolaud never takes a percentage of a sale; the creator pays only a flat monthly subscription. (Most competitors — Graphy, Classplus, Kajabi, Teachable — take 2–10% of every transaction, or lock "zero commission" behind their priciest tier.)
2. One platform replaces six tools — courses, live classes, community, store, memberships, multiplayer docs, whiteboard, certificates, blog, and a full public website, all in one workspace with a single reconciled member record. (Most course tools are content-only; creators end up paying for Teachable + Discord + Zoom + a site builder + an email tool that don't talk to each other.)
3. Sell to India and the world from one storefront — charge Indian students in ₹ via Razorpay (UPI, cards, NetBanking, EMI) with GST-compliant invoices, and charge international students in $ via Stripe with zero-rated export invoices. (Western platforms assume USD + a single card processor; Indian platforms are INR-only — almost nobody does UPI + GST and global USD properly.)

All three ship on the free Starter plan; paid tiers add capacity, branding, and team features — never remove the commitments above.

## Payments & currency (important)

Two checkout currencies, picked by the creator's connected gateway:
- Indian students pay in INR via the creator's own Razorpay (UPI intent flow, cards, NetBanking, no-cost EMI). GST: a GSTIN field and GST-inclusive tax invoices with the correct CGST/SGST (intra-state) split. Direct payouts to the creator's Indian bank.
- International students pay in USD via the creator's own Stripe (international cards). For these export-of-services sales, invoices are zero-rated under GST with a Letter of Undertaking (LUT) endorsement and a separate export-invoice number series.

Money never touches Prolaud — it settles straight to the creator's gateway account. Platform commission is 0%; the creator pays the gateway's standard fee at cost (Razorpay ~2%, Stripe's standard rate). The displayed price always matches what is charged: prices are shown in the academy's gateway currency (₹ for Razorpay, $ for Stripe), exactly as entered.

Payment plans / installments are supported (reminder-based, not auto-debit) for course access, with a grace period before suspension.

## Pricing (platform subscription — what creators pay to use Prolaud)

Plans, in INR (billed monthly or annually; annual is cheaper):
- Starter — ₹0, free forever. Your own subdomain, a storefront, courses, cohorts, the export button, 0% commission.
- Pro — ₹1,499/month (or ₹14,990/year). For growing creators: custom domain, white-label, marketing tools, more capacity, 2 teacher seats.
- Studio — ₹3,499/month (or ₹33,990/year). For teams/studios: 5 teacher seats, advanced analytics, transcripts, WhatsApp Business, larger limits.
- Institute — from ₹9,999/month (contact sales). For schools/large institutes: unlimited capacity, SSO, API access, dedicated SLA.

Every plan — including the free Starter tier — takes 0% platform commission on the creator's own sales; the creator pays only the payment gateway's standard fee at cost (Razorpay ~2%, Stripe ~2.9% + 30¢).
